Daniel Dean began working in the trades at just 16 years old in New Jersey, starting in the plumbing and heating industry before finding his path and passion in concrete construction. Over the years, he built his career from the ground up, relocating to California, and eventually serving as Superintendent at Shaw & Sons Architectural Concrete. In 2020 he founded Dean Concrete Inc., turning his vision into reality and building a company known for quality craftsmanship and innovative concrete solutions.

With more than 20 years of experience, Danny brings both technical expertise with hands-on experience and a friendly, approachable leadership style to every project. He holds multiple industry certifications, including OSHA 10/30, and both C-8 and B licenses with the CSLB. He’s also an active member of the American Concrete Institute.

As the owner, Danny stays hands-on in day-to-day operations, ensuring every project reflects the company’s core values: hard work, quality craftsmanship, and results clients can trust. Known for his integrity and leadership, he drives Dean Concrete Inc. forward as a trusted name in Southern California construction. Off the clock, Danny fuels his adventurous side by camping with his family, fly-fishing, and riding dirt bikes—bringing the same energy and dedication to his hobbies as he does to every project.

Cindy Rangel is the heart of the Dean Concrete Inc. office, keeping things running smoothly while always making sure people feel welcome. She’s been part of the Dean Concrete team for over three years and is the go-to specialist for all things accounting, payroll, HR, contracts and the daily operations of the company. With almost three decades of experience in real estate, mortgages, HOA management, and prior work as an administrator in a fast-paced plumbing company, Cindy brings both expertise and adaptability to every project. Her background in marketing and team support also shines through in the way she helps both clients and coworkers succeed.

Outside of work, Cindy enjoys singing and playing guitar, hand embroidery, and bike rides along the coast. She loves spending time with her teenage daughter and her small dog, Molly—often taking Molly for beach outings. Her mix of professional know-how and personal warmth makes her a key part of the Dean Concrete family.

Huestin serves as the Construction Estimator at Dean Concrete Inc, overseeing bid preparation and project evaluations. He specializes in RFIs, change orders, take-offs, project schedules, and blueprint analysis. Known for his attention to detail and process efficiency, he ensures compliance with project specifications and fosters clear communication across teams.

Growing up in New Jersey, he was introduced to construction at a young age while working alongside his father, a custom home builder. After earning his B.S. in Construction Management from Colorado State University, Huestin began his career in New York City as a telecommunications foreman, installing fiber and antenna systems. Eventually, he bought a Volkswagen van and moved to California with his best friend, where he built cell phone towers throughout Southern California and was quickly promoted to Construction Manager before joining Dean Concrete.

Outside of work, Huestin enjoys golfing, working out, skiing, surfing, traveling internationally, and spending time outdoors. A former lacrosse and soccer player, he brings the same drive and teamwork from sports into his career, making him a strong leader and valued member of the Dean Concrete team.
